Ponsonby Toastmasters was chartered on 30 June 2020 and currently has a membership of around 28 people. 

In 2023 and 2024, we became a “Distinguished Club”, meaning we achieved enough goals to be recognised as a high-quality club. In 2025, we reached the status of “President’s Distinguished”, which is the highest ranking that a club can achieve. In 2026, we are on track to once again achieve a high ranking.

This means that, when you visit our club, you are not just getting an average Toastmasters experience. You are getting the best experience that Toastmasters can provide!

Come along and see what we do. We love having guests and supporting new people with their public speaking goals. We meet every first and third Thursdays of the month at 7pm in the Ponsonby Community Centre.
